Albert Dosch

Albert Dosch was born July 12, 1931 in Karlsruhe ND to Marcus and Magdalena Dosch, one of eight children.   Al left this life to join his maker on March 10th, 2014 of natural causes at Marias Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.

Al began his education in Karlsruhe.  He earned his high school diploma while serving in the US Navy where he discovered his love of diesel engines.  After the service, Al achieved his Associates Degree in Diesel Technology from the University of Chicago.

Over the next two decades, he gained knowledge and experience in his chosen field.

In 1972, Al moved to Cut Bank ready to face the challenge of powering the oilfield.  Al’s Diesel Inc. was established to accept that challenge.  Al’s Diesel has grown beyond expectations, now providing diesel power globally.

As important as Al’s Diesel was, his favorite pastime was to spend time at the lake with his family, especially the grand kids.

Al is survived by his wife Lynne of Cut Bank, siblings Leonard (Shirley) of Minot, ND, Elaine (Gene) of Minot, ND, John (Genevieve) Klein of Tacoma, WA, Henry (Janice) of Fairbank, AK, Agnes (Ed) Halverson of Devil’s Lake, ND.  Son David (Kerry) Dosch of Cut Bank, daughters, Amber (Lance) Smith of Laurel, MT, LaNaya (Jim) Vaile of Cut Bank, grandchildren, Gina, Kasey, Brittney, Chad, Andy, Dakota, Denim, Bryan, Brandon, Brianna, Easton, James, Taylor, Jonathan, Jordan, Jennifer, and Thane.  Great grandchildren, Hayden, Kaiden, Karter, Brinley, Payton, Mason, and Kyeanna and numerous nieces and nephews.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gene & Edward, sisters Marge and Genevieve, his first wife Joyce, and his daughter Denise.

The memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 15 at the First Presbyterian Church in Cut Bank, followed by a reception for family and friends at the church.
