Alice K. (Kapp) Damberger

March 24, 1922 — March 26, 2015

Alice K. Damberger, 93, died March 26 th , 2015 of natural causes, Cut Bank.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday March 31 st at 10:30 at Saint Margaret’s Catholic Church in Cut Bank.  Inurnment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Whitted Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include daughter Nancy Kroeker of Cut Bank; son John Damberger (Erin O‘Brien), and granddaughter Morgan O’Brien Damberger of Cut Bank; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her parents Martha and Benn Kapp, her brothers Warren, Ben, Joe, and Jim Kapp, and a sister Ann Swenson.

Alice was born March 24, 1922 to Benn and Martha Kapp. The family homesteaded south of Ethridge. Later moving to Glacier County. She attended Meadowbrook Grade School and Cut Bank High School. Alice worked as a secretary and retired from the hospital after many years of service.

After her retirement, Alice made the most of life with family vacations to the Coast, Black Hills, and many highlights of Montana. She also became a full time daycare for granddaughter Morgan for after school fun. She filled any left over time with best friend Bertha Dunnigan and numerous family events. Family was always first and foremost for Alice.

Alice enjoyed her children, endless adventures with her granddaughter, spending ample time in her flower gardens, and coffee with friends. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Saint Margaret’s.
