Alvin ‘Pete’ Dale Brown, 77, a retired construction worker from Cut Bank, passed away Tuesday, at the Northern Rockies Medical Center due to natural causes. At his request no services are planned and cremation has taken place under the direction of the Whitted Funeral Chapel.
Pete was born January 16, 1935 in Roundup to Harry Clay and Mary (Hayes) Brown and was raised in Fairfield. After four years in the Navy where he learned construction skills, he returned to Montana and went to work for Hartz Construction. He and Janet Helen Rose were married in 1958 at Conrad. They moved to Cut Bank where Pete worked for Alme Construction for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet Brown of Cut Bank; his daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Edward Naccarato of Helena; granddaughters, Catherine and Christina Naccarato of Helena; sister, Elsie Graves of Great Falls; brothers and their wives, Wesley and Marie Brown of Great Falls and Harry and Betty Brown of Deer Lodge; sister-in-law, Evelyn Brown; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pete was predeceased by his son, Peter; his parents; and two brothers and two sisters.
Pete was a hard worker who enjoyed working with his hands and had many skills.
