The Lord took Andrea Bubnash Kinyon home on April 14, 2018. She died at Mt. View Nursing Home in Billings.
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister was born September 18, 1943 in Chester to Nick and Josephine Bubnash. Andrea attended Hay Coulee School, Chester High School and graduated from Joplin High School. She graduated from Northern Montana College with an Education degree. She taught in Geraldine and Glasgow, MT. She later attended the University of Montana in Library Science. She worked for a group home in Havre and as a care giver in Chester.
Andrea loved her children, grandchildren and family. She was devoted to God, attending church wherever she lived. In her last apartment she walked across a field of snow with her walker to attend church and go to the Senior Center. She loved to read books and the newspaper, listen to the radio, visit with neighbors and was kind to everyone. She lived in many places in Montana to include Chester, Havre, Geraldine, Shelby, Harlem, Missoula, and Billings.
Those left to cherish Andrea’s memory are: 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild: Angie Nace, (Collin, Cailee) Austin, TX; Andy Russell (Jeanne, Sammie, Bo, Lauren, and Max), Montesano, WA; Robert Russell, Las Vegas, NV; and Robin Russell (Mathew, Evelyn, and Abel), Billings, MT and her siblings and nieces and nephews: Nick Bubnash (Rose, Nick III, Landon, Lacey and her daughter, Helen), Columbia Falls, MT; Judy Buflod (Carl), Billings, MT; Sue Bubnash (Craig Smith, Clark, Wynn and her son, Arthur), Yakima, WA; Nancy Wuerth, Kalispell, MT; Debra Harris, (Megan) Missoula, MT; and Connie Limesand (Gary, Samantha, Elle), Snohomish, WA; and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Homer Kinyon, son-in-law Shane, and brother-in-law Ken.
Andrea’s funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chester, MT on April 21, 2018. A Rosary at 9:00 a.m. will precede the service.
Donations can be made to the Senior Center in Chester.
