Audrey Barrows McAlpine of Cut Bank, passed away January 26, 2015 in Cut Bank. She was born on September 17 in Warner, Alberta to Frank and Katie Barrows.
She married William McAlpine on October 13, 1941 in Warner. They then moved to Montana where they farmed with Jim and Selma McAlpine. They had four children; Billy, Alan, Beverly and Sandi.
Audrey enjoyed many activities, but the ones she enjoyed the most were those her grandchildren were involved in. Whether it be 4H, O-Mok-See or Little Guy Wrestling, she would be there to cheer her family on. She was also active in Good Sam, bowling, machine embroidery, quilting, and crocheting.
She is survived by her son Alan (Steph) McAlpine of Cut Bank; daughter Sandi (Bill) Manley of Cut Bank; grandchildren Shea (John) Underwood of Columbia Falls, Nisha (Kyle) Swenson, Scott (Kelsey) McAlpine, Nikole (Kip), and Nathan (Stephanie) Manley all of Cut Bank; great grandchildren Brooklyn, Cody, Zoe, and Amber Underwood, Jeremiah Swenson, Chase McAlpine, Kassidee, Kaleb and Joshua Owens, Ian Larson, and Xander and Alex Manley; a sister Eloise Ives; and many nieces, nephews and adopted grandchildren.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Katie Barrows, her husband William S. McAlpine, two children Billy and Beverly, and her siblings Violet, Eva, Henry, Mutt, Jimmy and Ralph.
