Beulah Edna “Beaver” Aspevig, 95, passed on November 18, 2021. She was born October 20, 1926 in Ellendale, ND to Robert Jacob and Edna Dillon. At 5 years old, the family moved to Livingston, MT where she attended school. After graduation from high school Beulah entered the nursing program at Montana State University and graduated in 1945 with a nursing degree. After graduation she was employed at Montana Deaconess Hospital in Havre. There she met LeRoy “Bud” Aspevig. They married in Havre on November 19, 1948.  Bud and Beaver resided in Rudyard, engaged in farming activities and raised their 2 children, Lanea and Jay.

Following the death of her husband in 1973, Beulah became employed at the Hasty Tire, doing inventory and bookkeeping. When Hasty Tire changed to TireRama in 1992, Beulah retired to devote more time to gardening and quilting but continued taking inventory each month for TireRama. She was active in Our Saviors Lutheran Church where she was treasurer for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and her husband.

Survivors include her daughter, Lanea Gunderson of Rudyard; her son, Jay (Barbara) Aspevig of Cut Bank; 4 grandchildren, Katrina (Jacob) Emrich, Kevin Aspevig, Brenda (Levi) Popelka, and Brian Aspevig; 5 great granddaughters, Avery, Adley, Alivia Emrich and Hailey and Whitney Popelka.

Memorials may be made to the Rudyard Museum.

A private family service will be held in Spring 2022. A public reception will be held at that time.
