Kenneth William “Bill” Boltz, 82 of Sunburst, passed away on December 30th 2018 at the Marias Care Center in Shelby. As per Bill’s request, no memorial service is planned and any memorial donations can be made in Bill’s name to the Prairie Oasis Animal Shelter, PO Box 398 Shelby Mt. 59474.
Bill was born in North Dakota and was the 2nd oldest of 4 children to Floyd and Dorothy Boltz formerly of Kevin Mt.
He and his older brother, Jim, and younger sisters, Patricia (Aneca) and Mary (Lefdahl) grew up in Kevin and all attended and graduated from Sunburst High School.
Bill served in the Army and was married to Patricia Boltz. Bill has 2 Children, Bill, (Erica) from Dallas Texas and Angel, (Joe) from Belgrade Mt. He has 3 grandchildren, Zachary Rossman of Belgrade and Taylor and Lauren Boltz both from Atlanta Ga.
Bill worked at the Big West Oil Refinery in Kevin for many years and finished out his working career at the Sunburst School district.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in the yard and just “fixing” things.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy; his father, Floyd; and his older brother, James.
The family would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff at the Marias Care Center for their support and attention over these last few weeks and we would especially like to thank Theresa and Angela for making sure he was comfortable. We appreciate everything everyone did to make the last few weeks of his life comfortable.
