Bruce Allan "Joll" Johnson passed away September 11th, 2023 surrounded by his loving wife and daughter. He was born on April 1st, 1959 in Cut Bank to Fred and Sharon Johnson. He went on to graduate from Cut Bank High School in 1977. On August 10th, 1984 he met the love of his life, Diane. They were married on September 28th, 1985. Bruce and Diane went on to have two daughters, Jessica and Jordan.
Bruce started young in the oilfield, working hard to eventually fulfill his lifelong dream of owning his own oilfield company, Peak Supply.
Bruce had many interests. He enjoyed golfing in tournaments in his younger years and in later years golfing for fun with his daughter. Although he was always convinced his golf clubs were bent. He enjoyed bowling in men's league and traveling to state tournaments. Saturdays were dedicated to watching the Montana Grizzlies and Sundays were for watching NASCAR and the Minnesota Vikings. He was a dedicated father, always telling his children everything he did was for them. Many people called him "Jolly" or "Joll". He was given the name because he was always laughing or joking with everyone he met.
Bruce is survived by his wife of almost 38 years, Diane; daughter Jordan (Josh); sister Barb (Bob); grandsons, Beckham and Owen; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Sharon; daughter, Jessica; and granddaughter, Mila.
A memorial service will be held Saturday September 23rd at 10 A.M. at Asper/Pondera Funeral Home in Conrad.
Bruce's number one concern was what he would wear to the bank Christmas parties, so please wear jeans.
