Bruce Alan Piane, 60, passed away September 13, 2016 at his home in Roundup. Bruce was born in Spokane, WA on July 27, 1956. He was a few days old when he was adopted by Joseph A. and Lucille (Cavitt) Piane. Bruce started first grade in Kevin, MT. Later that fall he moved to Wolf Point with his parents and little sister, Bette Ann. He graduated from Wolf Point in 1974. Bruce enlisted into the US Army where he served for 3 years, 2 of the years in Germany, and was honorably discharged on September 15, 1978. He went on to attend Sage Trucking School in Billings. Bruce then started his long career as a truck driver and continued until his health wouldn’t allow. He lived the last years of his life in Roundup.
Survivors include his mother, Lucille Cavitt Russell of Conrad; sister, Bette A. (Burt) Johnston of Fort Peck; and step-mother, Diane Piane.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Piane.
Graveside services with military honors will be Tuesday, September 20, at 1:00 PM at Hillside Cemetery.
