Paul “Bud” Adamson entered this world 94 years ago. He was born in Burns, OR to Roxford and Mary Adamson on January 15, 1930. He was the second of their five children.
Bud wore many hats during his life on Earth. He was a Son, Brother, Husband, Uncle, and Father. Not to mention that he was also a grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.
Bud was a dedicated rancher and farmer whose hard work and perseverance shaped both the land and the lives around him. A gifted storyteller, he shared his wisdom and humor, leaving behind memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
He married Carma Harwood on September 9, 1950, in Fort Benton. They spent 73 years enhancing each other’s existence.
Bud left his earthly body on December 3, 2024. It’s not easy to sum up a life of nearly 94 years. He lived a good life and fought the good fight.
Survivors include children, A. Marie (John) Widhalm, Jim (Joann) Adamson, Anita Adamson, and Richard Adamson; Brother, Homer Adamson; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carma Adamson; brothers, Rocky, Carl, and Max; son, William “Bill” Adamson; daughter, Nola Adamson; many uncles and aunts.
The visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, at Asper/Pondera Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 12, at 11:00 am at Pondera Valley Lutheran Church. A reception at the church will follow the service.
