Carma Alverda (Harwood) Adamson entered this world 93 years ago. She was born in Valier to Tom and Edna Harwood on October 29, 1930. She was the oldest of their four children.
Carma wore many hats during her life on earth. She was a daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and mother. Not to forget that she was also a grandmother, great-grandmother as well as a great-great-grandmother.
Carma was a teacher, a musician, avid pinochle and bingo player. She was a quilter and a gifted cook, but her family was her greatest joy.
She married Paul “Bud” Adamson on September 9, 1950 in Fort Benton. They spent 73 years enhancing each other’s existence.
Carma left her earthly body on September 23, 2023. It’s not easy to sum up a life of nearly 93 years. She lived a good life and fought the good fight.
Survivors include her husband, Bud; children, A. Marie (John) Widhalm, Jim (Joann) Adamson, Anita Adamson, and Richard Adamson; sisters, Reta Stokes and Joan Layne; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
