Charles ‘Frank’ Franklin Jensen, Sr., 80 of Cut Bank, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Bozeman due to natural causes. Visitation is Thursday, January 30, from 1:00 until 8:00 pm at the Whitted Funeral Chapel in Cut Bank. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday, January 31, at the Cut Bank Assembly of God Church. Burial with military honors will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Cut Bank Assembly of God Church.
He was born October 7, 1933 at Lovell, WY, to George and Nellie Fern (Jones) Jensen. He attended Winkler Elementary School and Cut Bank High School. He later graduated from the Montana Auto College in Great Falls. He served four years with US Navy and continued with the US Naval Reserve after his discharge. Frank married Audrey Mae Monroe on June 28, 1958 at Portland, OR.
After college he worked for a while with Floyd Garber as a mechanic, worked in the oil fields, and was a crewman for the City of Cut Bank. In his later years, Frank worked as a custodian for the Cut Bank Schools.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church and the VFW.
Frank enjoyed fishing, gardening, bible study, but mostly his family.
Survivors include his daughters, Carol (Randy) Flammond of Cut Bank, Tina (David) Walsh of Belgrade, Debra Jensen of Billings, Jacquie (Rusty) Strickland of Great Falls and Wanda (Ronnie Sr.) Horacek of Westfield, PA; sons, Chuck (Carla) Jensen of Lakewood, CA and Ed Jensen of Cut Bank; as well as thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Aurdrey; siblings, LaVaughn Proefrock, Bob Jensen, Dick Jensen Betty Kapp and Billie Irene Jensen.
