Connie Miller, 88, died peacefully of natural causes in the early morning hours of March 13, 2017 at Pondera Medical Center Extended Care. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, March 20, at 2:00 PM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Conrad.
Connie was raised in the Stanford/ Arrow Creek Bench area. She was the oldest of five children and graduated from Fergus County High School in 1946.
After her marriage in Lewistown to Ed Miller, the couple moved to the Brady area. There they built their livelihood farming on the Wagner place 30 miles east of town.
Connie was engaged in the fabric of the community as a talented farm wife, a
4-H sewing leader, and later as an employee of Valentine’s Dress Shop and the hospital nursing home.
Connie’s light is carried on by Laurie (Gene) Johnson of Tempe, AZ, Rich Miller of Missoula, Don (Susan) Miller of Kalispell; 3 grandchildren, Pam Beaudoin of Seattle, Jenny Slama of Santa Rosa, CA, and Kyle Miller of Kalispell, as well as great grandchildren.
Connie’s family would like to offer their most sincere thanks to the staff of Pondera Medical Center Extended Care for the loving care provided during her final two years.
