Cynthia Lee Boudreaux

March 3, 1949 — May 24, 2013

Cynthia Lee Boudreaux, 64, died May 24, 2013 in Hastings, Nebraska of cancer.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on June 9, 2013 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.  A reception will follow.  Inurnment will be at 10:00 am on June 10, 2013 at Mountain View Cemetery.  Whitted Funeral Chapel of Shelby is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.whittedfuneralchapel.com .

Survivors include her son, Douglas, grandsons Anthony and James, all of Hastings, Nebraska; brother Thomas (Melit) Flynn of Shelby; sisters, Sandra Blosser and Jackie (Chuck) Rohlf of Shelby, Jane (Rich) Wolf of Kansas City and Jean (Ryan) of Havre; her beloved nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Charlie, Cody, Claridale, Tom, Danelle, Jess and Megan; and numerous cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dayle Flynn; mother, Doris Allmaras;  grandparents, John and Anna Broughton and Harry and Vesta Flynn;  step-father, James Allmaras; step-brothers, Larry and Jimmy Allmaras.

Cindy was born March 3, 1949 in Shelby, Montana to John Henry (Dayle) Flynn, Jr. and Doris (Broughton) Flynn.  She attended elementary school in Oilmont and Shelby and graduated from Shelby High School.  After graduating from high school, she attended business school in Seattle and then worked there.  She married Frank Boudreaux in Seattle.  They were later divorced.  She returned to Shelby in 1981.  She worked at the Country Skillet until her retirement in September 2012.  She moved to Hastings at that time to spend time with her son and two grandsons.

Cindy was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and a member of bowling leagues.   Her favorite pastimes were knitting, sewing, and making doll clothes for her nieces. Upon her retirement, she spent her time being a grandmother to Anthony and James
