Dale Inabnit

Dale Inabnit, 94, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 3, 2023.  Dale was born July 29, 1929, in Conrad to Lloyd & Grace Inabnit.  He attended his schooling and graduated from Conrad High School.  Dale married his forever wife, Mary Ann Fowler and together started their family.

 Dale and his father owned and operated Quality Milk Plant for many years.  Servicing all of Pondera County communities. His skills then led him to carpentry, building many beautiful homes in the area.  Dale was a perfectionist and took great pride in his work.  

 Dale was a recipient of the Jaycees Distinguished Service award for his work with local organizations and city council.  He worked closely with the Civil Defense Fall Out program.  Also helping expand recreation facilities for the youth, Boy Scout drives and numerous projects.

 Dale and Mary in their retirement years enjoyed many adventures traveling in their 5th Wheel trailer across the country to places such as Arizona and Canada.  In celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniversary they took a dream cruise to Alaska.

 His ultimate joy was his family and sharing his love of horses, hunting, fishing and camping. He had a great passion and respect for the outdoors. In his later years, his favorite pastime was to enjoy a road trip to the mountains with family or his good fishing buddy, Tom Fowler.  

 Dale is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mary Ann; his children, Janet King, Lorna (Ken) Kovatch, Dan (Deb) Inabnit, and Gordon Inabnit; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray; son, Steven; daughter, Donna Hilliard; daughter-in-law, Helen Inabnit; and granddaughter, Jacie King.
