Dan R. McIntyre

Danny “Dan” R. McIntyre was born to Manning “Mac” and Helen (Ophus) McIntyre in Conrad on March 9, 1955.  He died October 22, 2019 in Conrad at the age of 64.  Dan graduated from Conrad High School in 1973 and attended the University of Montana in Missoula where he received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Dan held a variety of jobs during his lifetime, and most recently was employed by Opportunities Resources, Inc as a case manager supporting developmentally disabled adults from Babb to Conrad.  He was a member of Wesley House Campus Ministry and the United Methodist Church. He served on several boards and projects during his lifetime.  Dan was a Red Cross blood donor and organ donor.

Dan’s surviving family consists of four sisters, June Hovde, Carol Kaldor, and Marlene (Roger) Moon all of Conrad; Ellen Adams of Chester; brother, Gary (Donna) McIntyre of Parker, CO; nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Baby McIntyre; sister, Kathy (Buck) Amestoy; niece, Lia Moon; brothers-in-law, Edward Hovde and Ronald Kaldor; and beloved friend, Kip Blakney.

Per Dan’s request, cremation has taken place.  There will be no services and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
