David Pederson

David Norman Pedersen was born September 12, 1941 in Fairview, Montana to Kristen and Vera Pedersen.  He passed on to a better place May 20, 2015 due to complications of lung and bone cancer.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Whitted Funeral Chapel in Shelby, Montana.  There will be a lunch following the service at the Search and Rescue Building across form the Sherriff’s office in Shelby.

David grew up on a farm in the Elmdale area of eastern Montana.  He graduated from Sidney High School, and served in the U.S. Navy from October 1959 to July 1963 when he transferred to the Naval Reserves.  David and Gail Raimo were married January 1966.  They had two sons, Michael (Shelley) and Jim (Cathy).  They later divorced.  David and Jane Raush were married June 1985 and he acquired a daughter, Angie and another son, Danny.  They moved to Shelby in 1988 where he owned and operated Pedersen and Sons Electric for many years until his illness.

He leaves behind his loving wife Jane; son Michael (Shelly); grandson Ryan (Becky); great grandchildren Issah, Jocelyn, and Kaiden; son Jim (Cathy); grandsons Justin, Kyle and Tyler; step-daughter Angie; grandchildren Christina, Rudy and Ashley; step-son Danny; grandson Austin; sister, Marilyn Hunt Sheldon (Russell); nieces Mary Clark (Johnney) and Teresa Sheldon (Vince); and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him very much and also many friends.

Preceding David in death are his parents Kristen and Vera Pedersen and nephew Kenneth Nielson.
