Donald Benjamin Hofland

Donald Benjamin Hofland born Feb 27th 1966 in Shelby MT, lived in various Washington and Montana areas, coming to reside in Kevin Montana, passed away due to health issues on Nov 12th 2023.

He is preceded in death by his mother Diane J Evans. Survived by his father James D Hofland. Sister Wanda Taule. Son Derek B (Caitlin) Hofland grandson Robert and soon to be born grandson. Step daughter Tanya Gentle grandson Payton. Ex-wife Kym Hofland. Nephew Stephen (Jessie) Taule. Niece Malinda Taule. Niece Shanna (Josh) Moser grand niece Alexandra. Niece Anna (Sean) Austin grand nephews James and David.

Donny was a passionate soul who found joy in the roar of dirt bikes, the power of muscle cars, and the artistry of mechanics.  Don’s hands were skilled, and his heart was adventurous. He leaves behind a legacy of enthusiasm, expertise, and a love for life that touched everyone around him. May he rest in peace, forever remembered in the echoes of revving engines, loud AC/DC music, and the shared stories of his vibrant journey. 

Donny will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.  He touched the lives of so many people across multiple generations.  During his life, he would help anyone however he could. The lives that Donny touched were like a pebble being tossed into a lake acting as ripples that extend far beyond just us. 

There will be a Celebration of Life (potluck) on Dec 9th 2023, 3pm, at his shop.
