Donna Mae Dunn, aged 92, passed away on September 29, 2024, in Great Falls, MT. Born on June 30, 1932, Donna devoted her life to her family and community, embodying a spirit of adventure and a love for the simple joys of life.
Donna graduated from Brady High School and furthered her education at the University of Montana. She was a homemaker, worked as a cashier for Fred’s and ran a Bun wagon on White Bear Lake in Minnesota. Donna was an active member of the Brady Methodist Church. She loved hosting parties and BBQ for friends and family
Her hobbies included quilting, gardening, and traveling, each reflecting her love for adventure and her creative spirit. Donna's gardens were a testament to her patience and her quilts, a patchwork of the many loves of her life.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Milo Dunn, her parents, Ernest and Ruth Thompson, and her daughter, Patti Winterrowd. She is survived by her son, Bradley Dunn-meie
r (Loretta), and daughter, Peggy Bucholz (Brent). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Bryan Dunn (Rachel), Devyn Dunn (Ashliegh), Lucas Bucholz (Cara), Kassandra Humbard (Jeff), Nathan Bucholz (Brittney), Joshua Winterrowd, and Leif Winterrowd, as well as her great-grandchildren, Milo, Oliver, Cooper, Landon, Parker, Camille, Emery, and Nora. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 4, from 5pm to 7pm. A service to celebrate Donna's life will be held Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at 2:00 PM. All services will be held at Asper/Pondera Funeral Home. A reception at the Brady Community Hall will follow the burial.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donna’s memory can be made to the Brady Methodist Church, Brady Community Hall, and the Great Falls Rescue Mission, supporting the institutions that were close to her heart.
