Donna M. Hamilton

Donna M. Hamilton, 74, of Conrad, MT, passed away suddenly on October 12, 2018 after a brief illness.

Donna was born in Colfax, Washington on April 28, 1944.  She graduated from San Pasqual Academy in Escondido, California.  She attended Walla Walla College in College Place, Washington, which is where she met the love of her life, Robert S. Hamilton, III.

Donna and Robert were married on January 28, 1965 at the Little Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, Nevada.  They were married 51 years when Robert passed away.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Traci M. Cain (James) of Conrad; brother, Darel Musgrave (Karen) of Helena; sisters, Peggy Clark and Carla Arshen of PA; sisters-in-law, Candace Shermeta (Robert) of FL, Melissa Cadieux (Art) of WA and Shelley Kaylor of OR; special cousin, Thalia Brown Sharp (Billy) of OR; grandchildren, Katherine Cassidy (Brad) of Whitefish, MT, Ian Cain (Amber) of Whitefish, MT, Daniel Simmons of Havre, MT, Brennen Cain of Washington D.C., and Lauren Cain of Missoula, MT; 2 very special great granddaughters, Karsyn and Charlie of Whitefish, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her father, Paul Musgrave; and her mother, Nanita Thomas.

Donna absolutely loved her pets and to read a good book, therefore, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bright Eyes Animal Shelter, PO Box 1498, Choteau, MT 59422 or to the Conrad Library.

Per Donna’s request, she has been cremated by Asper Funeral Home and there will be no services.
