Iva Earlene Keister Bardgett, 73, passed in her sleep on May 21, 2020, in Spokane, Washington.

Funeral service were held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Conrad Mission Church, 205 2nd Ave. N.W. in Conrad.

Earlene was born February 24, 1947 to Earl and Iva Keister, homesteaders of Conrad.

Earlene graduated from Conrad High School in 1965. She married in 1965 and had two children, Ronald P. Briggs and Karene J. Briggs-Fisher. Earlene lived in Missoula most of her life where she became a nurse and a Meter-maid. In her mid 40s She adopted a beautiful baby girl, Samantha Jean Turnquist, whom she raised from birth. Once Earlene retired, she and her beautiful daughter moved to her hometown of Conrad in May 2006. In 2012, Earlene married her long time friend, Carroll Bardgett.

Earlene was always a loving and caring person, putting others before herself. Her favorite pastime was camping at Lake Alva with friends and family. Most people will remember her for her marvelous sense of humor.

Earlene was survived by her husband, Carroll Bardgett; son Ron Briggs, daughter-in-law Diane Briggs, daughter Karene Fisher, son-in-law Timothy Fisher, daughter Samantha Turnquist; grandsons Timothy Fisher Jr., Morgan Fisher; grandaughter Danielle Briggs; sister-in-law Gladys Keister; nieces Kelly Conner, Pamm Ciupa, and Dawn Keister Lemkes, and nephew Loren Keister. Earlene Bardgett is loved by so many and her spit-fire personality will be missed by everyone who knew her.
