Edythe Mildred (Pourroy) Orcutt, 93, passed away Thanksgiving, November 24, 2016 with her son by her side.
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 2, at 11:00 AM at Conrad First Presbyterian Church. A reception at the church will follow the burial.
Edythe was born February 21, 1923 in Conrad to Peter and Gladys Pourroy. She grew up in Conrad and graduated from Conrad High School. Edythe married Robert “Bun” Orcutt on May 7, 1940. Together they had two children, Robert “Butch” and Marjorie. Edythe’s job was being a mom and all the things needed as a farmwife. Along with her children she became actively involved in 4-H, led a sewing group, and was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. Edythe loved to sew, read, bowl, and was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by son, Robert (Tomi Jo) and daughter, Marge (Gene) Williams; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Patsy (Steve) Kirkhart and Samantha, Loryn, & Jace, Wendy Willason and Marcus & Natasha, Rona (Willy) Rahlf and Ben, Alex, & Carson, Robin (Joel) Stott and Elle, Hanah, Payton, & Sophie, Nicole (Craig) Cavey and Taylor, Kayla, & Colton, Jennifer (Ryan) Spoonmore and Morgan, Rylee, Logan, Emma, Aston, & Jax; and four great grandsons, Lincoln and Oliver Smith, Graham and Everret Lovato.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and her grandson, Jason Orcutt.
