Ellen "Jeanette" Frost

Ellen "Jeanette" Frost passed away peacefully on September 21, 2018, at the Pondera Medical Center Extended Care.

She was born to Gerhard Lund and Ellen Black Lund on August 1, 1935 in Jamestown, N.D., Jeanette was one of four siblings raised at the family home in Sunburst. After graduating from North Toole County High School, where she was an excellent student, musician, cheerleader and friend, Jeanette

attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mt.  In 1957 Jeanette married Joel Frost.  After closing out their college careers, Jeanette and Joel moved to Poplar, Mt, where they began their married life.  After four years the family moved back to Toole County, residing in Kevin, where Jeanette worked and helped raise her two sons, Kory and Kevin and her daughter, Janae.

Jeanette was a very loving, caring person to not only her own children but to countless other kids that frequented the Frost home.  She can still be heard shouting "Go Get 'Em" throughout the Northern Montana gyms as her children and their fellow competitors competed in basketball and other sports.

Known to love the Christmas season, Jeanette enjoyed playing her piano/singing at home or at our hometown United Methodist Church. Decorating the Christmas tree was a labor of love for her but not her children, as she insisted on hanging and removing the shiny tinsel one strand at a time.

In her later years Jeanette moved to Conrad to live, work, and be near family.  She was always the caregiver and loved working with people.

Jeanette is survived by Joel Frost, sister Lauretta Siderius of Oregon, Kory and Cyndi Frost of Trabuco Canyon, California, Kevin Frost and

Pam Owen of Fort Meyers, Florida, Aaron and Janae Bliss of Conrad, Montana; grandchildren Ashley (Manny) Lara, Brittany (Billy) Hinzo, Colin, Melissa, Mitchell, Whitney (Ben) Moerkerke, Brandon (Jade) Bliss; great-grandchildren Alex, Natalie, Lily, Navy, Tripp, Harper and Theo.

Memorial services will be held Friday, October 19th at 1pm, at the Golden West Lutheran Church.
