Ethel C. Woldstad

Ethel Christine Woldstad, 92, a ranch wife from Valier, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Marias Medical Care Center.
Survivors include sons, Robert (Mary) Woldstad, John (Karen) Woldstad, Neal (Janice) Woldstad all of Valier, Marvin Woldstad of Missoula; daughter, Montana (Scott) Hansen of Kila, MT; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband, Selmar; her parents; grandson, David Woldstad; a brother; and sister.
Ethel was born December 15, 1924 in Miles City, MT. She grew up in Sandpoint, ID and graduated from Sandpoint High School. Ethel worked at the Sandpoint Creamery. She met Selmar Woldstad and they were married in 1948 and ranched in the Valier area since 1948.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 31, at 10:00 AM at Valier Lutheran Church. Burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. A reception will then be at the church.
