Faye Irene King, 75, passed away October 9, 2016 in Spokane.
Memorial services will be Saturday, October 15, at 2pm at Valier Lutheran Church.
Faye was born March 3, 1941 in Conrad to Everette and Ruby (Gemar) Robinson.
She married Joe King on May 30, 1969. They lived and farmed in the Valier area for 45 years. Faye was employed at the Prairie Star newspaper for many years and worked as Valier’s Clerk and Treasurer for nine years until retirement.
Joe and Faye have wintered in Arizona for the last 6 years.
Faye loved playing cards especially Ponytail Canasta. She had a love for animals and never met a stranger.
Survivors include husband, Joe; daughter, Joleen (Scott) Koehler of Garrison, MT; sister, Gail Olson of Choteau; grandchildren, Whitney (Jacob) Simmons and Brett Chaput both of Abilene, TX, Chelsea Chaput and Kyleigh Koehler both of Garrison; Faye was anxiously awaiting her first great grandchild due in a few weeks, Rylee Faye Simmons. She was the favorite “auntie” to numerous nieces and nephews.
