Fred T. Berkram

Frederick Tollaf Berkram, 78, of Cut Bank, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019.

Vigil services will be Tuesday, January 8, at 7:00 PM.  A memorial mass will be Wednesday, January 9, at 11:00 AM. Both services will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Fred was born August 4, 1940 in Cut Bank to Toralv and Rose (Weiss) Berkram.  He attended school in Cut Bank and graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1958.  Fred served in the US Army from 1959 to 1961.  He married Marlene A. Bell on July 12, 1963.  Fred farmed North of Cut Bank for 40 years while contracting mechanic work for UPS for 20 years.  He retired in 2010.

Survivors include wife, Marlene; children, Greg (Sandy) Berkram of Billings, Dean (Treasure) Berkram of Cut Bank, and Brenda (Dave) Caldwell of Hermiston, OR; grandchildren, Ryan Berkram, Kyle Berkram, Myles, Jared, Dylan Caldwell, Kaden Caldwell, Reid Berkram, and Nolan Berkram.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Melvin, Gary, Dennis, and Alan Berkram; sister, Ilene Ingebrigtson; and grandson, Tyler Berkram.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Cut Bank Education and Alumni Association, Alzheimer’s Foundation, or charity of donor’s choice.
