Howard G. DeZort

Howard George DeZort, 79, of Cut Bank, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
Viewing will be on Friday, November 21 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Whitted Funeral Chapel in Cut Bank. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Cut Bank.
Howard was born on June 23, 1935 in Cut Bank to Chester and Dorothy DeZort. He attended school in Cut Bank and Fairfield. He married Barbara Baney on April 16, 1955, and the two made their home in Cut Bank. Howard worked for the county, had a trucking business, and farmed and ranched most of his life. He was a loving husband and father and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He loved hunting, fishing, and most of all, working with his cows.
Howard is survived by his spouse, Barbara; siblings Cliff (Marilyn) DeZort, Stanley (Betty) DeZort, Mary Stone all of Great Falls and Dorothy Fulk of Fairfield; sons Calvin (Barb) DeZort, Doug (Jimilee) DeZort both of Cut Bank, Les (Marj) DeZort, and Dale DeZort both of Kalispell; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Dorothy; brother, Calvin; and grandson, Joshua DeZort.
