Iva Pearl Sneed
February 19, 1921 — April 6, 2012
Iva Pearl Sneed went to be with her Savior and the love of her life who tenderly welcomed her home. Iva died of natural causes at the Northern Rockies Medical Center at the young age of 91! She leaves behind two sons, Leslie (Suzie) Sneed of Cut Bank and Danny (Ruthie) Sneed of Morristown, AZ; daughter-in-law, Shirley; six grandchildren, Chet, Salty, Leslie M, Troy, Daniel and Shanna; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her parents; five sisters; one brother; and grandson, Leslie Michael.
Iva was born February 19, 1921 to Isaac and Bessie (Johnson) Gadd at Dunn, W Virginia. Iva’s dad was a Baptist minister and she was a devoted disciple of the Lord all of her life. Iva traveled with her musical family for many years being the unsung hero in taking care of them. Iva and Don Earl Sneed were married on June 12, 1941. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Cut Bank and enjoyed cooking, traveling, and listening to Gospel music. Iva loved her family and friends so much – nothing pleased her more than visiting. We will all miss her but are comforted by knowing she is definitely in a better place.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Whitted Funeral Chapel and memorial services will be announced at a later date.
The family extends their special thanks to the personnel at the Glacier Care Center and Northern Rockies Medical Center for all of the wonderful care and love they gave Iva.
