Mary Jean Reeser, “Jean”, 90, passed away March 8, 2019 in Spokane, WA.
Jean was born December 18, 1928 in Kevin, MT. She was the youngest daughter of 12 children born to Harold and Myrtle Miller.
She married Howard Reeser on August 20, 1949. They celebrated 56 years of marriage before Howard’s death.
Jean enjoyed traveling, playing games, puzzles, and word search. She loved bowling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include daughters, Patricia (Victor) Douglas of Spokane and Linda (Steve) Carpenter of Soldotna, AK; grandchildren, Shannon (David) Stoltze of Wasilla, AK and their family, Amanda and Eric, and great-great grandchild, Bryce,
Tammie Salstrom of Ennis, MT and her family, Jodi, Jesse, and Foryst, and great-great grandchild, Gabriel, Jeremy (Bobbi) Chandler of Great Falls, Bobi Gardner of Billings and her family, Kayleigh and Kelsier, Zed (Krystyna) Carpenter of Kenia, AK and their family, Ella and Rance, Melinda (Mike) Rehl of Pittsburgh, PA and their family, Lucas, Payton, Jackson, and Nicklas, Adam (Cassie) Carpenter of North Kenia, AK and their family, Riddley and Axton, Camelle (Mark) Douglas of Spokane, WA, Jason (Jessica) Douglas of Exeter, RI and their family, Gigi and Ben; and blended family members, Chris, Rene, Len, Anita, Chandra, Chloe, Avery, Alysse, Traci, Matt, Tristan, Lena, Jedidiah, and Hayden.
She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Debra; parents; sisters, Betty Welker, Margaret McLeod, and Doris Root; and brothers, Harold, Leonard, Bob, Bud, Kenneth, Glenn, Jack, and Richard.
Memorial services will be Friday, June 21, at 11:00 AM at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Shelby. Burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
