Jolene Marie Wynn, a spirited horse lover and devoted wife, passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on June 5, 1940, in Great Falls, MT, to Joseph and Dorothy Kowalchuk, Jo was the eldest of six siblings. Her upbringing took her all over the state of Montana, but she proudly graduated from Fort Benton High School.
Jo found her lifelong partner in Pat Wynn, and together they embarked on adventures across the United States before settling in Conrad, MT. There, they built a life surrounded by their two sons, a menagerie of horses, chickens, and a house full of dogs.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Pat, her sons Mike (Cheryl) Wynn and Tim (Michelle) Wynn, three sisters, Judy (Bob) McIntyre, Jan Scott, and Jena (Mike) Tobacco, a brother, Joe (Anita) Kowalchuk; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of love for animals and the open plains. Jo's gentle spirit and unwavering love for horses will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
