Josh Kaneff

On April 13, 2017 our beloved Joshua (Joshy) James Kaneff, 22, tragically left us to be with Jesus.

Josh was born on October 20, 1994 in Sioux Falls, SD to Jimbo Kaneff & Janise Hatfield. Josh was raised in Shelby by his mamaw, papaw N his dad.

Josh was employed at Humic in Shelby. He was so proud to be workin' there. Josh had gotten his life together and we couldn't have been happier for him!!

Josh was lookin' forward to gettin' his driver’s license. He was just waitin' on a letter from the state to get here. He was soooo happy. I loved the glow in his eyes and the smile on his handsome face! He told me how proud his dad will be**

Josh & his brother Shawn had a very special bond that could NEVER be broken!! They would sit by a fire pit & drink "Kool Aid" but Josh always made sure he brought a twisted tea to his brother (his best friend)!!!

Josh & Shawn would always share their secrets, heartaches, plans, etc. with each other!! They would go ride the 4 wheelers, go dirt bikin, shootin', boating, skateboarding & fishin' at Robertsons Bottom!!

Josh loved his family very much. He would go over & see Ryder & Renesmae & just sit and play with them!! they loved their Uncle Joshy!! Josh loved seein' his cousins Heather, Miranda, Neveah, Nolan & Addisyn!! Josh had a Heart of Gold & would give U the shirt off his back!!

Josh was proud to have some very special friends & family whom he could confide in, have fun with, etc. brothers Shawn Kaneff, Jason Fyall, Shyanne, Jack, Stephen, Dustin and a few more.

Josh was a very funny person n could make you laugh when you are feelin' sad!!

Josh looked forward to seeing his dad & spending some alone time together! goin' for a drive & shootin' gophers & havin' father & son talks. Josh looked up to his dad!! Jimbo loves his boys with all his heart....

Josh was always goin' fishin' with his mamaw when she was alive!! He looked up to her and papaw....Josh always listened to what his papaw had to say because he always gave good advice & Josh admired that!!

Our hearts are sooo Heavy right now because you're not here anymore!! We will always cherish our memories we have of YOU!!! We are ALL blessed to have had YOU in our lives even though it was only 22 yrs....

Survivors include Dad (Jimbo Kaneff), Mother (Janise Hatfield), brother's Shawn (Hailey) Kaneff, Jason Fyall, sister Melissa Rawls, nephew Ryder James Kaneff, niece Ranesmae Jacklyn-Rayn , cousins Heather, Miranda, Neveah, Nolan *N* Addisyn, Auntie Tina L. Cox..

Preceded in death by his grandparents Papaw (Big Jim Kaneff), Mamaw (Mary Kaneff), Uncle Calvin Ray Cox N many other loved ones.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Shelby. Followed by burial in Hillside Cemetery in Conrad.
