June Irene (Running) Jordan

June Irene Jordan, 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 15, 2022 at Logan Health Conrad Nursing Home. She was born April 6, 1929, in Marsh Field, Wisconsin, to Mark and Amanda Running. She was a graduate of East High School at Green Bay Wisconsin in 1946. She attended the University of Wisconsin and Madison General School of Nursing and received an RN, registered nurse degree in 1950. After receiving her RN, she worked at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.

She married Andrew A. Jordan, her high school sweetheart, August 4,1951 at Milwaukee, WI. Together they raised five children in Choteau, Mt.  June enjoyed being a mother and loved her family dearly. She was a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years and witnessed about her love for Christ to all those she came in contact with. June also enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, knitting, Tennis, Golf, skiing, and camping with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Andrew A. Jordan. She is survived by her children, Andrew A. Jordan Junior (Sheri), Elizabeth A. Maltby (Tom), Heather L. Jordan, John R. Jordan (Gail)and Schuyler A. VanDyke (Duane). She was a Gramma to 23 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Service for family and friends to celebrate June’s life will be held at Asper Funeral Home in Conrad. on December 2nd at 4:00pm. Visitation will be prior at 3:00pm. A private family burial will follow on Saturday December 3rd at the Choteau cemetery.
