Kal C. Kenfield

Kal Clayton Kenfield passed away of a heart attack on January 3, 2018. Kal is survived by parents,  Dennis Kenfield and Charlotte Kenfield; brothers,  Tim Kenfield (Carleen), Bret Kenfield (Kristin Walters) and  Davy Kenfield; nephews and nieces, Daniel Kenfield ( Angie), Shelby Reynolds (Joshua, Piper Medick and Malcom Reynolds)  Alex Kenfield, Zachary Kenfield, Cameron Lively (Steven, Brenham, Wyatt & Abilene), Jeremy Kenfield (Donna);  cousins, Sabrina Komenda  (Shane, Blake & Cooper), Mikal Kenfield (Josh, Marshall & Julian), Keegan Kenfield, Vicki Kraft , Marty Kraft; uncles, Barry Kenfield (Janis), Dirk Kenfield (Bev); and aunt, Patti Kraft (Gene).

Kal was born November 25, 1970 in Chester and graduated from Joplin High School in 1989 where he participated in basketball, track and football.

Kal attended Carroll College in Helena Montana from 1990 through 1995. Kal had a passion for sports cards and started a sports card shop in Helena where he resided.    His favorite basketball player was Michael Jordan and he traveled to Denver, Colorado to watch his game.

Kal enjoyed farming on his family’s farm north of Chester.  He most especially enjoyed the challenge of resolving mechanical problems. He participated in all facets of farming.

We can’t forget Kal’s favorite animal, Mr. Hissy the Cat.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7pm at Rockman Funeral Home.

Services will be Monday, January 8, at 10:30 AM at Chester Methodist Church.
