Kim (Hause) Dyrud

Kimberly “Kim” (Hause) Dyrud was a loving mother, sister, and friend. Kim went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 18th, 2023, at 66 years of age. In recent years, her battle with an array of severe health issues only showed us her courage, will, and strength in facing the challenges life presented her, along with her unrivaled trust in Jesus till the very end.

Kim was born to Norman and Marge Hause in Conrad, on July 20th, 1956. Growing up in Conrad, Kim was always getting into mischief with her siblings. Kim’s antics carried over into adulthood as there was nothing more she loved than a good practical joke. From jumping out from behind the shower curtain to gluing change on the floor, these lighthearted gags always put the biggest smile on her face.

After graduating high school, Kim moved to Helena, where she worked for an answering service. Soon after, she made her way to Boulder where she pursued a position in the legal industry as an office administrator. Eventually moving back to Conrad, Kim began working for the Big Sky Special Needs Cooperative. Here she worked faithfully for 39 years. It was at the Coop where she created long-lasting memories and life-long friendships.

While in Conrad, Kim created a loving and fun-filled home for her family. In June of 1994, she gave birth to a set of twins, Faith and Kyle, whom she unfathomably loved and cared for. Kim’s children were her lifeblood, as she traveled endlessly across the state for any and all events they partook in. There is nothing Kim wouldn’t have done for her kids, and she couldn’t have been more proud of them. Kim thoroughly loved each and every minute spent with her kids, and of course, the many dogs she cared for. Kim was an extremely talented cook and singer and is survived by her parents, Norman and Marge (Christiaens) Hause, sister Annette (Hause) Inababnit, brother Dale Hause, and sister Joan (Hause) Dairy, along with her children, Faith and Kyle Dyrud as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

A Celebration of Life for Kim will be held at the Baptist Church in Conrad at 1:00 PM on July 15th.
