Lou (Evelyn) Fleming Eney, age 85, passed away April 5, 2016 at the Northern Rockies Medical Center, Cut Bank, Montana, surrounded by her family.
Evelyn was born on September 28, 1930 in Clintwood, Virginia the youngest of five children to Luther and Bertha Fleming.
She received her education in Clintwood, Virginia and in 1947 she moved to Cut Bank, Montana with her mother, where she met the love of her life, Thomas L Eney. They were married on January 10, 1948 and lived in Cut Bank for the rest of their lives.
Tom and Evelyn were farmers who worked together to create a successful farming operation. They had four children, Paula Peterson (Jim), Marty (Janet), Cynthia Eney and Bill (Christie), 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren (which included 3 sets of twins)
She enjoyed making quilts, playing bridge, garage sales and shopping at J C Penney’s.
Preceded in death by her husband on November 9, 1994, her parents, and her sister and three brothers.
She resided at the Glacier Care Center in Cut Bank for the last five years and made many new and treasured friends.
