Louis Leroy Suta

Louis Suta, 78, a farmer and rancher, died September 13, 2012 at his home in Sunburst of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Sunburst on Wednesday, September 19, at 1pm. A visitation will be held at the Whitted Funeral Chapel in Shelby on Tuesday, September 18, from 1pm to 8pm. Interment will be in the Sweet Grass Cemetery with a reception to follow. Louis was born in Bethlehem, PA and came with his parents, Rudy and Margaret, to the Suta Family homestead in 1942. Louis attended the Oilfield Country School and the Sunburst High School. He married Juanita Cook in 1952. To this union four sons and one daughter were born.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita; sons Terry and Richie of Sunburst; Jim of Cut Bank; and daughter Mary Ann of Billings. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his eldest son, Leslie.
Louis loved his family, farming, and raising buffalo.
