Lucille married George Frydenlund July 3, 1949 at Shelby and the couple farmed south of Devon for many years.
Along with being a busy farm wife, she worked at the Galata Store, served as an election judge and was active in the Devon Lutheran Church.
Lucille was kept busy with the lives of her children and grandchildren. All her children remained in Shelby and raised their families. She made it a point to attend all her children’s school actives and was ready to babysit whenever called upon. She became a much loved helper at the Marias Care Center, after her mother, Bea Robertson, became a resident there.
