Lynn Dianne Lonbeck

Lynn Dianne Lonbeck, 67, passed on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

 Lynn was born to Betty Wood on August 6, 1956, and joined her older brother, Tony. When Lynn was three, Betty Married James K. Marshall, who later adopted both Tony and Lynn. They were joined by three Siblings: Arthur, Kenny, and Jodine. Shortly after, Scot Marshall completed the family as they resided in Chester. Lynn took twirling lessons and played basketball as she went through school in Chester. After high school, Lynn joined the Navy. While in the Navy, She met her first husband in Greece. Their first child was born in Greece, and shortly after, they left Greece and moved to Bakersfield California. They went on to have two more children. Lynn got a degree in accounting at CSUB and went to work at the Kern County assessors office. Her marriage ended after 17 years. After her divorce, Lynn met William Lonbeck, and they got married in 1995. They resided in Bakersfield for several years before deciding to move to Montana. Lynn had a few jobs in Montana before she began working for the Bureau of Reclamation. She worked there until she retired in 2022. Lynn loved her kids, her husband, her animals, and she loved to sing. She even had a band with William and her son for a while. She was so funny, but she didn’t take crap from anyone. She loved her kids and they did many fun things together. Lynn will be greatly missed by all who truly knew her. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Marshall. 

  She is survived by her husband, William Lonbeck, Children, Kristi (Todd) Olson, Stephanie Muir and Donald (Stephanie) Muir, Siblings Tony (Shona), Arthur (Cindy), Kenny (Nancy), Jodine (Dick) Brown, Scot (Jeannean) Marshall, Grandkids, Lauren Muir, Lucans Olson, Aiden Muir, and Charlotte Muir. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 There will be a celebration of life and 1st heavenly birthday celebration on August 6th at noon at Chester City Park.
