Margaret Mary Neva, 91 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 due to complications from pneumonia. A Sunday night Rosary Service was conducted by Father Tim and her funeral, officiated by Father Richard, was held Monday, March 9 th at Saint Williams Church. A luncheon for family and friends was served at the Parish Hall by the Altar Society. She was laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery.
Marge was born in Windsor, North Dakota on May 15, 1923 to Thomas and Rose Zimney. She was one of nine children and grew up on a small farm near Windsor. She met and later married Al Neva on February 27, 1946. They moved to Montana and raised their two children in Shelby. Marge loved bowling and was very accomplished in ceramics and crocheting. She also loved playing cards and Bingo. She took great pleasure in sharing the accomplishments of her entire family.
She is survived by her husband Al of 69 years; son, Gary (Terry) Neva, St. George, UT: daughter Lori (Kip) Thacker, Shelby, MT. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters.
Her family wishes to thank Dr. Clary for all of his many years of dedicated and caring service as her personal physician. They also want to recognize the service of all the health care professionals throughout the years. The family is grateful for the service provided by the members of the Catholic Church and for a family dinner arranged by the Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She will be missed.
