Marge Hause

 Marie Marjorie ‘Marge’ (Christiaens) Hause, born August 9, 1932, passed away peacefully Sunday December 24^th 2023 at 91 years old in the Beehive Assisted Living home in Great Falls.

Marge was the second oldest of 10 children to Maurice and Jeannette Christiaens.  She was born and raised on the family farm east of Valier Montana, where she lived until her graduation from Valier High School in 1951.  She then attended Carroll College in Helena MT graduating in 1953 with a nursing degree.  Marge worked as a nurse for over 35 years.  Her first job was at the then St. Mary’s Hospital in Conrad.  She ended her career as a home health and hospice nurse and in the Pondera County Treasurers office.  She was proud of her time as a nurse and had many stories of the people she cared for.  She was a devoted member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and helped in many of the churches functions and care of the church.

It was early in her time as a nurse that she met the love of her life, Norman Hause.  They were married on November 15, 1955.  They were blessed with 4 gifted children, Kimberly Dyrud, Annette (Bob) Inabnit, Dale (Deanna) Hause and Joan (Joe) Dairy.  They were also blessed with 12 grandchildren, Jill Lorang, Kelli Youk, Faith and Kyle Dyrud, Joshua and Emily Hause, Jed, Jared, Cade, Rachel and Lucas Dairy and 3 great grandchildren Grace, Gabbie and Jack Youk.

Marge was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Dyrud, earlier this year.  Prior to this she lost her parents, Jeannette and Maurice Christiaens; her brothers, Don, Ron, Larry and Joe Christiaens; and sisters, Maureen Mamuzich and Dorothy Rideout.

Marge is survived by her husband, Norman Hause; children Annette Inabnit, Dale Hause and Joan Dairy; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by a sister, Agatha Simurdak; 2 brothers, Delbert and Roger Christiaens; many nieces and nephews.

 Visitation will begin at 5pm on Thursday, December 28, at Asper/Pondera Funeral Homes. Rosary and Vigil services will follow at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held Friday, December 29, at 10:00am at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. A reception in the Parish Hall will follow burial in Mt Olivet.
