Marian L (Shay) Irgens

Marian L. Irgens, 84, a life time Kevin resident and accountant, passed away at her home Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 28 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Shelby with burial to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. A Celebration Party of her Life will follow at the Kevin Park in Kevin. Visitation is 1:00 to 5:00 PM on Monday at the Whitted Funeral Chapel. Marian was born December 13, 1928 at Kevin to Clarence & Josey (Enneberg) Shay. She graduated from Oilmont High School and then from Kinnman Business School in 1948.
Marian lived and worked in Kevin her entire life and never retired from her accounting business.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church, the Oil & Gas Assoc. and a long time supporter of the Tri-County Shrine Club.
Marian enjoyed golf, flowers, card games and horse racing.
Survivors include nieces, Denise Copenhaver of Spokane, WA, Toni Irgens and Shelli Bocek both of East Glacier, Stacy Griessmer of Great Falls, Missi Vens of Cut Bank, Staci Irgens of Renton, WA and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew Chester (Butch) Irgens.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Tri-County Shrine Club.
