Marianne Martin Wilson

November 16, 1931 — August 20, 2016

Beloved Mother and Sister , Marianne Martin Wilson known to patients as “Mary Poppins” has gone to be with the Lord, August 20 th , 2016. She was born 11/16/1931 in Kevin, Montana to Lute and Lenora Martin. After graduating from Cut Bank High School she attended Columbus School of Nursing in Great Falls, where she graduated with honors in 1953. She married Raymond Wilson, May 3 rd 1956, and they had 6 precious children. Her first priority was her family and her passion was nursing. She was truly gifted at wound care and loved caring for the elderly. She was one of few nurses in Glacier County to specialize in geriatric care.  During her career she cared for patients in Browning, East Glacier, Shelby and Cut Bank, later owning and operating her own successful home health care business .She was appreciated by many in the community for her compassionate care. She was small in stature but a mighty prayer warrior, always vigilant in her faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lute and Nora Martin, her husband Raymond and son Mark. She is survived by her loving brother Donald Martin (Berle), her 5 wonderful children Marty, Mary, Maria (Lee), Matthew , Myron (Kim) including foster brother Ted Van Beek ,eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 23, at 2:00pm at Cut Bank Community Bible Church. Burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
