Marlee was born on April 30, 1997 to Myra Cadotte and Beau Morgan in Browning. Before she was born, her big brother Scotty asked their Mom for a little sister for his next birthday. She told him that he would have to ask God for that present. Marlee arrived on Scotty’s 5th birthday and was the best present he could have wished for. She was named after her Grandma Marlene and her aunties Joanne and Nellie. Marlee was a wonderful baby and loved by everyone that knew her. Her parents and brother adored her and she adored them. She was her mother’s little Precious and a Daddy’s girl. Marlee was extremely close to her cousins Dayln and Cheryl. She was like a sister to them. When Marlee was 11yrs old her little sister Carlee was born and Marlee couldn’t have been happier. She was the best big sister ever. She loved and cherished Carlee and taught her how to paint her nails and wear make-up. Marlee brought joy and happiness into the lives of her entire family.
Marlee loved to listen to music and spend time with her closest friends, whom she loved very much. She was funny, outgoing, intelligent, and gorgeous; the kind of person that others were drawn to. Her smile was amazing and her laughter was contagious.
Marlee attended Head Start and school in Browning. Marlee was exceptionally bright and energetic. She was a member of Honor Society and she played basketball and volleyball during her middle school years. She also ran cross country and participated in the Ice Breaker several times, placing in the top 5 for her age group. She spent her summers with her uncles and aunts and the rest of her family. Marlee loved to swim and ride 4 wheelers with her cousins and she went on camping trips with BAWAP. Marlee also enjoyed jingle dress dancing during the Pow Wows. She was in the 9th grade at the Browning High School at the time of her death. Marlee’s life touched everyone that knew her and even those that didn’t. She will be missed by everyone.
Marlee is survived by her mother Myra and stepfather Thomas Little Plume; brothers Scott Cadotte, Anthony and Brendan Little Plume; sister Carlee Little Plume; grandparents Bob Morgan and Bill and Marlene Cadotte; aunts and uncles Nellie Cadotte, Joanne Cadotte, Loren Morgan, Sean and Willene Morgan, Ron and Megan Grant, Rod and Belinda Bullshoe, Barbara Day Chief, Rhea Morgan, Renita Blackgoat, and Arnell Kittson; cousins Cheryl, Cody, and Nicholas Cruz, Sean Jr. (Boo Boo), Marquel, and Dayln Morgan, Ryan, Ron Jr., and Mason Grant; and the rest of her family and friends.
