Marlys Gaye Bear Medicine
October 9, 1966 — April 5, 2014
On April 5, 2014 the Lord welcomed Marlys Gaye Bear Medicine into the home he has prepared for her. Waiting to meet her was her mom, Mary Lee Bear Medicine, sister Miranda Boy and brother Alden Bear Medicine, who preceded her in death.
Her funeral will be 10:00 am on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Starr School Gym. The wake will be April 7 at the College Homes Center and moved to the Starr School Gym on April 10 in the evening. She will be interred at Bear Medicine Cemetery.
Marlys is survived by her children Tanielle, George (Tracy), Brandi, Susie, Lissa and Leland Jr. Kicking Woman, Lacie Pambrum and Danny Laforge; her grandchildren Tayilin “Tater Tot” Jordan Kicking Woman, Kehyn Long Time Otter, Junior Bull Child, J.P. Bird Rattler, and one due in May, Harlan Billy Kicking Woman; her father Robert Bear Medicine; her sisters Mona (Lydell) Bear Medicine, Carlene and Angie Old Person, Ember (Frank) Kipp, and Kyra (Virgil) Mad Plume; her brothers Gerald (Reynalda) and Christopher (Marian) Boy, and Edward Bear Medicine. Marlys is also survived by her love, Buzz Bird Rattler.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitted Funeral Chapel, Cut Bank.
