Sunburst, Montana - Michael Lynn Cook, our family and friend whose love for the simple pleasures in life brought joy to those around him, passed away on October 24, 2023. Born on January 9, 1993, in Tucson, Arizona. Michael was a down-to-earth soul who touched the hearts of many with his kind spirit.

Michael had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. He had a special fondness for spending time in nature and enjoyed annual camping trips where he could escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. In the serene beauty of the wilderness, he found solace and tranquility.

One of Michael's greatest loves in life was his two faithful dogs. They were not just pets to him but beloved companions who provided him with unwavering loyalty and comfort. His dogs were a source of solace and an ever-present reminder of the simple joys that life could offer.

Michael had a special bond with his family, who meant the world to him. He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Cook Jr., brother, Billy Cook the Third, niece, Emma Cook, and grandparents, John and Louise Wallewein. Michael is survived by his loving mother, Melissa Wallewein Cook, brothers, Kolter Cook and Zane Michels, and sister, Katherine Wells. He also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a community of friends who will remember him for his kindness and warmth.

Michael had a big heart and a contagious smile that could brighten anyone's day. He had a knack for making people laugh and brightening the room with his cheerful presence. His humor was gentle and never failed to bring a smile to those fortunate enough to know him.
