Michael Hesla

Michael Paul Hesla (MPH) passed away unexpectedly January 17, 2017 in Acton, California. Michael was born January 17, 1980 in GreatFalls to parents, Paul Hesla and Nancy (Erickson) Hesla. In his youth, Michael enjoyed boxing, racing motorcycles, and racing dirt track cars. He moved to Phoenix for abit then joined the us marine corps he was deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq after the Marine Corp, Michael pursed a career in the oilfield in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska , commuting between Alaska and California. About 1 year ago Michael was injured in an accident while working on the corral where he lived. He was finally about healed up enough to go back to work when he passed away.
Michael is survived by his parents, Paul & Nancy Hesla, significant other, Renee Clark, grandfather, Merton Hesla, siblings, Jade Premo , Jonathan Hesla and Siona Hesla , step brothers, Cotton Root , Adam Root, brother always, Josh Miller, uncles, Mark Hesla and Jim Erickson , aunts, Kristi Hesla & Patrica Erickson and of course, Ted. Michael was preceded in death by his Grandmother Gretchen Hesla , Uncle John Hesla , grandparents, Gilbert & Pat Erickson, and several brothers in the Marine Corp.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 28, at 1:30PM at Mountain View Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at Coyote Club in Shelby.
