Nancy Majerus Trovatten passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Marias Medical Center due to natural causes.
Memorial Mass will be 10:30 am on June 7, 2014 at St. William Catholic Church in Shelby followed by inurnment at Mountain View Cemetery.
Nancy was born in Willmar, Minnesota to Charles and Ida Majerus on September 29, 1937. Nancy was educated in Kevin-Sunburst area. She married Herbert Trovatten on October 7, 1955 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. Nancy and Herb moved to California in the early ‘60s and moved back to Montana in the late ‘90s where they remained until her death. Nancy loved shopping and giving everyone her love.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Herb Trovatten; two sons Corey Trovatten (Sharon) of Shelby; Todd Trovatten (Lori) of Great Falls; one granddaughter Lindsey and great-granddaughter Cammy of Chicago; one sister Delores; niece Dawn of Idaho Falls; and Nancy’s beloved friends Mike and Sharon (Cookie) Bashor. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, four brothers and one sister. Nancy touched the hearts of everyone and will be missed dearly.
