Patricia (Johnson) Christiaens

Patricia Yvonne Christiaens passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 87. Born March 8, 1936, in Plentywood, Montana. Following graduation from high school, Patricia married Ronald Christiaens in 1952. Pat and Ron had nine children while farming in the Sweetgrass Hills area. After Ron’s death, Pat moved to Valier, and in 1983 she and Delbert Christiaens married and continued farming in the Valier area. Del and Pat celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary in 2022 at their home in Valier.

Patricia is survived by her husband Delbert and her children Allyn (Char) Christiaens, Rhonda (Don) Dart, David (Christine) Christiaens, Patrick (Lori) Christiaens, Kathleen (Matt) Foster, Carolyn (Dan) Ball, Brian (Shelly) Christiaens and Kelli (Glynn) Reed. Also Survived by stepchildren Jody (Mark) Reynolds, Joel (Mary) Christiaens, Maria Christiaens, and Amy (Shannon) Sanderson. Also 27 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her daughter Jannell and four grandchildren.

Vigil services will be held Thursday, July 6, at 6:00pm. Funeral mass will be held Friday, July 7, at 10:00am. All services will be at St. Francis Catholic Church.
