Robert James Burke

Robert Thomas Burke passed away December 25, 2017 in Cut Bank, Montana.  He was born September 16, 1929 in Glacier, Montana to William and Mary Burke.

Bob spent his childhood in Glacier, Montana.  At the age of 18 he was drafted into the Korean war where he received The Medal Of Honor for being wounded in action.

Bob moved to Beaverton, Oregon in the late 1960's where he worked in various occupations.  He was married 3 times, most recently to Barbara Burke.  They resided in Woodburn, Oregon.

After retirement he spent over 10 years working for Walmart as a greeter, in Woodburn, Oregon.  And, most recently returned to Montana where he lived at Glacier Care Center until his death.

Bob is survived by his children, Kathy Lynn Smeltzer, Thomas Lutke Burke and Margaret Mary Mellon;  Grandchildren,  Walter, David, Keith, Aneesha, Shawna, Randy, Jannell, Josh. Jeremy, Billy, Dakota, Donna Rae, Donte;  and 10 great grandchildren.
