Roger Allen Toren, 77, passed away December 15, 2017.
Services will be Wednesday, December 20, at 2:00 PM at Pondera Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Conrad Moose Lodge.
Roger was born on November 29, 1940 to Lambert and Mabel (Breding) Toren in Conrad and raised on a farm ten miles from Choteau. He attended elementary school in Agawam and high school in Choteau. Roger married Lola Diane Klev on January 1, 1967 in Kellogg, ID. They divorced March of 1986.
Roger sold his farm in 1982 and moved to Great Falls. He settled in Conrad in 1986. Roger worked as a bartender at the Lariat Bar, at HW Distributors, and managed the Dutton rest stop. He was an avid bowler and won a State Bowling trophy in 1963. Roger loved playing pool with his partner, Don Breding. He enjoyed camping with family and friends and loved nothing more than just driving, especially his Cadillac to Glacier Park.
Survivors include his children, Tammie Toren and Mike (Jolan) Toren; grandchildren, Taylor Giecek, Selena (Giecek) Moore, Melody Fellows, and Cadence Toren; and eight great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his cousins that were like brothers, Delbert and Donnie Breding.
